The Law Office of Joseph A. Heintz Jr., P.A. is a Southwest Florida Law Firm representing individuals facing legal issues in the areas of personal injury, foreclosure, evictions, debt and credit card, family law, divorce, wills and trusts, estate planning and bankruptcy.

 

Team Biographies

Joseph Heintz

Heintz was born and raised in Upstate New York, served in the US Army and fought in Panama and Desert Storm. He then attended undergraduate school at SUNY at Utica. He soon grew tired of shoveling snow and moved to Florida where he attended Nova Southeastern University School of Law in Fort Lauderdale. He is current on all CLE requirements under the Florida Bar Rules and is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. Heintz practices and accept cases in Lee, Charlotte, Sarasota, Manatee and DeSoto Counties.

Kari Elg

Elg has been with the firm since 2009. She handles the day to day business operations of the office. She is the voice you hear on the phone and the face that greets you when you enter the office. She is deeply passionate about estate planning and helping clients clearly understand the meaning and implications of their decisions. She is constantly improving her knowledge through CLE Courses. Whether assisting with a loan modification, debt settlement or estate planning, Elg will walk the same path as the client until the end destination is reached. Through her years with the firm, her gained knowledge of debt settlement and the foreclosure process, combined with loan modification application, is invaluable when working hand in hand with the attorney and clients.

 

Veronica Flemming-Stewart

Flemming has a long history in law enforcement training and criminal justice education. She has worked as a Paralegal/ Legal Assistant over 16 years in Port Charlotte, Florida handling primarily Family Law, Personal Injury, Estate Planning and Criminal Law cases.

Flemming’s educational background started at South Florida Community College, Valencia Community College, Southern New Hampshire University and Nova Southeastern University, receiving several degrees under the umbrella of Criminal Justice Administration, Pre-Law, Legal Studies and Business Administration.
