Debt Collections

Are you overwhelmed with debt? Are you living paycheck to paycheck? Are you worried about debt collectors? Maybe you can’t develop a workable budget. Are you constantly being harassed by debt collectors for credit card balances, student loans, auto loans, payday loans, hospital bills? These are some of the most common examples of consumer debt cases that I handle for clients.  From the harassing phone calls to being served with a complaint, I can help clients navigate through the collection process.  Let us help you to understand how debt collection works and what your rights are and what we can do to settle the matters for you.

With debt collections comes the possibility of a wage garnishment and post judgment collection. If a judgment is entered against you by a court, your wages or bank account may be taken from you to pay the judgment through legal proceedings called garnishment and attachment. My office has handled several cases involving wage garnishment and attachment.  If a judgment has been entered against you or your wages are being garnished you need to immediately seek the advice of an attorney.
